Classroom Motivation and Management Skills

The teacher uses an understanding of individual and group motivation and behavior to create a learning environment that encourages positive social interaction, active engagement in learning, and self-motivation.

We were given the task to create a power point presentation for each part of the direct instruction lesson plan.

I worked with Maureen and Amy. Our power point was on the Anticipatory Set of the Direct Instruction Lesson Plan.

The PPT is attached below. I am also attaching my 3 pluses and a wish to reflect on a similar class where we all introduced to the class our anticipatory sets for our direct instruction lesson plans. Some of us used demonstration, some used the whiteboard and some used power point presentations. This was one of my most enjoyable classes.....
